Soft eating liquorice made to the 1957 Batch 37 recipe, later reworked with a strawberry flavour once the original version had proved itself. Darrell Lea has produced chocolate, liquorice and confectionery in Australia since 1927, and strawberry became one of its most popular variations on the classic recipe.
Made from sugar, wheat flour and glucose syrup, sweetened further with natural flavouring, malic acid and citric acid, then coloured with anthocyanins and finished with liquorice extract. Supplied in a 200g pack that complements the original flavour within a wider range.
