Young green chillies are picked while still tender, then fire roasted for a mild, smoky heat that suits a wide range of Mexican style dishes. This fire roasting method has been used since 1897, giving the chillies a fuller, more authentic flavour than a simple canned pepper.
Diced and ready to use, they work well stirred through salsas, scrambled eggs and omelettes, or stuffed with cheese for quesadillas. A versatile, mild heat ingredient for building out a Mexican range, with a long shelf life and steady repeat sales.
